Some SpringCore devices feature a UHF passive RFID interface, operating in the 860-960MHz range (depending on local regulations). This interface is compliant with ISO/IEC 18000-6C, i.e. EPC Global Class 1 Gen 2 UHF standard.

Available Operating modes
A SpringCore device featuring a UHF RFID interface supports only Smart Reader Operation.
RFID Scanner (keyboard emulation) is also possible but not recommended due to the very high latency of sending key-strokes agains the very fast inventory process which is the key feature of UHF systems.
