#SET KEY ADMIN instruction

The SET KEY ADMIN instruction allows to change the HostCommAdminKey if the device uses the ATAES Secure Element to store its authentication keys.

#Access condition

Never (permanently disabled after manufacturing). Use the CHANGE KEY instruction instead.

Note

This instruction is permanently disabled when the device exits the factory (by setting bit 2 “Lock Secure Elements” in the Fuses). Once this is done, calling this instruction returns an error.
