INIT instruction

Role

The INIT instruction is used during the manufacturing process to initialize the Secure Element.

Access condition

Never (permanently disabled after manufacturing).

Note

This instruction is permanently disabled when the device exits the factory (by setting bit 2 “Lock Secure Elements” in the Fuses). Once this is done, calling this instruction returns an error.
